  • My Story

I took a tumble a few weeks ago on a training run and injured my ankle .. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to run the event, but I am back on my feet and have been out pounding the pavements again..in an upright way this time! Just trying to get back up to speed with the training, so I've been doing bootcamps, swimming, and of course a fair bit of RUNNING! 11 days to go to race day!

I first heard about Harrison’s Fund when a friend of mine undertook an epic challenge in support of the Charity. I was in awe of what they had done and I’m in awe of Harrison and his family for the incredible work that they do to raise funds and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The condition affects 2,500 boys in the UK and there is currently no cure. It’s 100% fatal.  It’s just the unthinkable.💔 The money they are raising funds scientific research and clinical trials to help them find a cure. So I was wondering if you would help me do a little, to help them do a lot. Any donation, however small, will be very gratefully recieved! Thank you so much xxxx
