Edward is supporting Greenfield School's charity to help find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the most common fatal genetic disorder to affect children. Duchenne stops muscles providing a key protein required for growth. Harrison, who is three years older that Edward, uses a wheelchair and machines to help him have some sight. Teenage suffers become totally paralysed as muscles and organs shut down . Harrsion's parents’ state every penny donated will go into research. Scientists state they are close to finding a cure for this disease which currently has a life expectancy in the early twenties.

After the kids race, which Edward’s school is sponsoring, Edward is looking forward to cheering on the Greenfield teachers and parents running the entire Half Marathon for the Harrison’s Fund while he is handing out water at the 11 Mile Water Station.
